Honorary Fellows of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (HonFCBET) are persons who are distinguished by their works in biomedical engineering and technology or in the professional sciences including the biological, medical, physical, engineering, environmental and management/social sciences as they relate to health and human wellbeing. On the alternative, they are distinguished persons whom the College desires to honour for service(s) rendered to biomedical engineering and technology as well as allied sciences or to CBET; or else their association therewith is of benefit to CBET. Fellows of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (FCBET)

Fellows of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (FCBET) are persons who have been in the class of Members (MCBET) for a period of seven years or have met the requirement for (MCBET) and have had not less than fifteen years of experience in a superior responsibility as well as in biomedical engineering and technology or in the professional practice of biological, medical, physical, engineering, environmental or management/social sciences as it relates to health or human well being.

In addition they have met CBET's educational and training requirements including obtaining CBET Professional Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Biomedical engineering and technology (PCB, PDB and AD or PGDBMET) respectively.
